Slashdot has picked up an article from the Financial Times which indicates that web censorship is on the increase. The FT article includes an interactive map which gives details of the level of censorship practised by different countries and also links to some interesting articles about the topic which look at the ways in which dissidents try to avoid the blocks as well as the worrying trend towards increasing censorship.
It's worth having a look at the Slashdot article too - some of the comments (at the bottom of the page) contain some very interesting links.
