Microsoft is releasing an update today which will ask millions of users across Europe whether they wish to continue using Internet Explorer, or whether they would like to switch to one of 11 other browsers. This follows a long-running legal battle in which Microsoft was accused of abusing its market position by bundling Internet Explorer with its operating systems.
