Viewing iPlayer on a toaster?

The BBC is so determined to make iPlayer available anywhere people might want to watch it, that their latest kitchen-based gadget is bound to be a success. Why would you want to skip breakfast when you can make toast and download TV at the same time?

Alternatively, the Guardian reports on other significant developments in technology today, leading with their Twitter-based news service, limiting all stories to 140 characters or fewer, and their Gutter Press initiative which claims to transform interaction with media sites.

Meanwhile Gmail has announced the launch of its Autopilot service which helps you to keep up with your correspondence by reading and replying to your emails so you don't have to ;-)

Today is such a good day for innovations...
